We have a cartoonish view of the world because our views of the world come from cartoons, from advertising, factoids, memes and romanticized notions. We have very little direct knowledge of all the infinitely vast expressions of this ever changing universe . . . hell, I’ve never even been to Florida, but I have an idea of it.
